Billingsley impressed throughout the day on Sunday, and just plays the game right. He plays with a cool and calm demeanor, and never seems to get flustered on the floor. He has excellent court vision and is always looking to get his teammates involved. Billingsley may be a past first PG, but has a nice smooth stroke from outside, and shoots the 3-ball at a very high rate. He is a great communicator on the court, and basically acts as a coach on the floor when he’s out there.

Billingsley was one of the biggest surprises of the camp, showing a high IQ and a mature approach to the game. He has a great touch around the rim and consistently finishes with finesse, while his ability to extend his range a few feet behind the three point line makes him a dangerous shooter. Billingsley stood out with his communication and willingness to encourage his teammates throughout the camp.

Billingsley is a tough, strong-bodied guard who plays the game with poise and under control. He has excellent handles and is always looking for the open man, but if you leave him open he’ll knock down the 3-ball consistently. He was a true facilitator each time he stepped on the court, and was a very smart player who let the game come to him. The 5’8″ PG was talkative on the defensive end and did a great job of keeping his opponent in front of him and his hands in the passing lanes.
