Like Poage, Maina looks very underdeveloped physically and I have to believe he’s far from done growing. The 6-foot-1 guard is incredibly long and strides down the floor like a gazelle. He’s a solid finisher and has a nice skillset — he can shoot, pass and dribble — but the strength is still coming along. I could totally see him blooming late and eventually transferring to a prep school for an extra year; that being said, it’s far too early to predict if or at what level Maina will be able to play college basketball.
