Swanson will be an exciting addition to the rankings and a really surprising guard out of Elk Point-Jefferson. The point guard is a self-creator that can create a ton of offense for the Huskies. He put in 23 points in his final game in the 44-54 loss to Vermillion. He showed a shotmaking repertoire that was highly impressive. Off the dribble pull-ups and fades to name a couple. A fearless and skilled attacker of the hoop. Defensively, he brings intensity on the ball, comfortably and confidently picking up full to 3-quarter court, making the ball-handler prove he has a strong handle on the ball for an extended period of time. I don’t know his plans after high school, but I think he’s an under the radar NAIA/D3 prospect. I’m questioning his 5’9” listing because he looks to be around the 5’11”-6’0” mark on film. But that’s total speculation and guesswork.
