About Chase

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

True Point Guard and tough 3 and D, who can shoot the deep three, leads my team in 3 pointers made and holds the 3 point record in a game at Sandia Prep (8). I lead my team in assists, and steals, and can also grab a lot of rebounds because of my toughness. I Love to assist my teammates and be the floor general especially in high pressure games.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Toughness all around, loves the pressure, have always had to play big for my size. Team player who loves my coaches and teammates! I got the Golden Bear award at Cal for being the best teammate.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Varsity Chess, Varsity Track, Club Track, Iron Man Award (3x), 3 Point Shooting Record holder at Sandia Prep Dean's List, Honor Society

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am the captain as a junior and also am involved with the National Honors Society where we do community service projects in NM. I help coach younger kids at the Championship Basketball Academy.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

My challenge has always been to overcome my size and I do this with total toughness and have always studied the game and followed smaller guards like Chris Paul and Tre Jones.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for a small school with high academics where I can play basketball and get my degree in law or exercise science. I want to be close to a big city.
