About Chase

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

A lead guard who loves playing both sides of the ball. I've been described as being able to score at all 3 levels, make clutch shots, and create for my teammates. I change speeds well and use my strength to finish at the rim with either hand.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Passionate first and foremost. I love this game and feel that if I outwork everyone the rest will fall into place. I have been described as charismatic, and a leader. I take pride in my leadership skills. I'm also known to make people laugh, and be very coachable.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Leadership club at my school. Im also a part of a mentor program called Omega 13.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am an active big brother, big cousin and mentor. Been taking care of the babies in my family occasionally since 6. I also helped my dad alot with my great grandmother as she battled dementia before passing away. When my coaches are busy I'm often asked to run practice. I've helped my non AAU coaches put together systems and plays as well.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Playing up a few ages when I was younger was a challenge because I hadn't hit puberty yet. Also playing J.v as a 7th grader this year was tough. Losing loved ones and still having to go to school and lace up my kicks and play has been rough too.

What type of college are you looking for?

Preferably the kind that I can have an impact on right away. I'm still young, and if I keep working I school and off the court the sky is the limit. My dream schools are Villanova, Rutgers, and Florida.
