-One of my favorite point guards to watch in the area, Brown constantly applies pressure to his matchup by attacking the rim with a reckless abandon. Brown’s probing drives to the rim rarely result in turnovers as he is the straw that stirs the drink for a gritty AACS group that has pulled off some upset wins this season. Love his POA defense out on an island, with Brown serving as a pitbull that is really difficult to screen and even more difficult to get past on drives to the basket.

-Always come impressed by Brown’s impact in different areas of the game, doing all of the dirty work that leads to wins in a long season. Brown stepped up with his backcourt mate sitting out the contest and handled the offensive load, distributing the ball well in the halfcourt and securing 4 offensive rebounds to extend possessions for an offense that struggled to get going in the first few minutes. Brown is always on go, playing with a nonstop motor that makes his speed in the open court even more of an advantage-creator in space.

is a fierce competitor that welcomes the challenge of being a small guard. He impacts the game in many ways that don’t include his shooting. Flies around the floor as a defender on or off the ball, causes deflections and turnovers, even grabs rebounds through traffic at times. He is strong with the ball and can run the offense as a point guard. As mentioned before, Brown has a smooth jumpshot that he will bury with open space. Will look for baskets and make them to keep the defense honest. Underrated guard on an underrated team.

-Really shifty PG off the bounce that stood out to our scouts at the Prep Hoops Top 250 Expo. Brown sets up his angles to the rim with slow, deliberate dribbling as he directs traffic but squares up quickly to attack his defender. Got into his matchup’s chest on drives to the rim and finished with different finesse finishes around the basket around his defender. Liked his play in the gaps defensively as a ball-hawking help defender that successfully comes away with the basketball on double teams, traps, and digs down on the post player.

-One of our favorite finds of the event, Brown is a shifty guard that has an explosive change of direction and a pretty diverse skillset. In his second 5 on 5 game he cashed out an early 3, turned a steal into a layup at the other end after blowing past defenders. Has a pretty good feel of when to score and distribute with a drive and kick to strong side corner for a 3, smooth alley oop dime, hesi behind the back and scooping lay on a series of possessions. Really quick, aggressive driver once he’s gotten the defense onto the back of their heels. Closed out the game with a one-handed assist to a shooter, steal, and another kick out to a shooter later in the 2H.
