We had a Michigan based prospect stand out at both our freshman showcase and sophomore ID camp as Beltran-Casanova made the trip south and made the most of his opportunity. Beltran-Casanova had impressive dribble moves with an in and out move leaving a defender in the dust. An impressive shooter if you leave him alone, Beltran-Casanova used the threat of his jumper to pump fake and knock down floaters against the defense.

One of the few out of state attendees at the camp, Casanova came from just across state lines in Michigan to showcase his talents against Ohio’s top prospects. Casanova had multiple and-1 layups, finishing through contact at the rim. Liking the baseline as an area to attack, Casanova could spot-up in the corner and look to either shoot or attack off the dribble.
