is a productive low post presence who scores efficiently with a reliable hook shot over his right shoulder. He does a good job moving without the ball, especially around the dunker spot, where he consistently finds soft spots in the defense for easy finishes. He also runs the floor well picking up easy transition buckets and putting pressure on transition defenses. On top of that, he crashes the offensive glass hard, creating extra possessions and making it tough for opponents to cleanly secure rebounds. He can also step out and knock down the three, which adds another layer to his inside-out game. Tough nosed player who can be a key piece to a college program.

Switched things up this spring/summer as he suited up with TSG Hoops for the grassroots season; fearless finisher and confident creator off the bounce; can really fill it up from deep; as he hones in on the defensive end of the floor, look for his stock to rise on the recruiting trail

One of the more skilled forwards in the 252 will be running it back with Team Trezz this grassroots season. Even though his Conley squad didn’t have this best of years, Cayden checks a lot of boxes in terms of what you look for in a forward prospect. He’s a solid shooter with range out to the three point line, a solid rebounder and has the ability to put the ball on the floor when he needs to.

Hill rounds out the first edition of rankings for the 2027 class in the state at No. 50. He’s a sizeable 6-foot-4 prospect who’s shown he can operate at either forward spot on the hardwood at DH Conley. He made quite the impression in his varsity debut with the Vikings, producing 8.2 PPG and 5.6 RPG on 42 percent shooting from the field. As he continues to improve his ability to handle the ball and perimeter shooting ability, he’ll only continue to rise in the class. He’ll suit up with Team Trezz Chase this grassroots cycle.

Hill is a young, versatile prospect already at 6-foot-4 in North Carolina’s 2027 class who’s shown he’s capable of operating in a variety of ways. He can size up smaller defenders on the perimeter and in the painted area while showing he can fly around for rebounds and make things happen. Look for him to emerge with D.H. Conley in 2023-24 in the 2027 class.
