Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
As a small power forward with a rare hand difference. It's an advantage because opponents don't expect much from me when they see it. My above-average mid-range shot keeps defenders honest and stretches the floor. My ability to confidently knock down three-pointers adds a key dimension to my team's perimeter game. Though not the tallest on the court, I compensate with smart positioning and hustle.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I am grounded in my love for God, with a heart full of compassion and a genuine desire to help others. I am the kind of teammate who lifts people, leads by example, and finds joy in making others smile. Whether it’s on the court, in school, at home, or in church. I value connection, stay true to my faith, and always put others before myself. My character is consistent and honest.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I participate in Student Government, UIL Academic Competition, and Health Medicine Club. I am in the Honors Society, and I have earned Student of the Month 4 times from 6th to 9th Grade.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
My leadership skills allow me the confidence to be comfortable as the spokesperson for a group. Working with my little brother and his friends at church, I have learned patience, care, and fairness even when things get tough. I include everyone, and don’t boss people around, but help them work together as a team. I always stay calm under pressure, keep a positive attitude.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
I was born with symbrachdactyly. This means that on my left hand, I only have a thumb. Having such a clear physical difference introduced me to bullies and meaness at an early age. From that, I learned that God chose this for me to teach others that being different makes you special and you have to learn how to use your uniqueness to shine a light on God's goodness.
What type of college are you looking for?
I am looking for a college that can prepare me for the real world, teach me knew things to grow me, while also a school that embraces and welcomes the person I already am.
