Hagen really had a great season last year for Archbishop-Murphy. He possesses the ability to run the game, create separation to see the floor, and effectively exploit gaps to score from the midrange and in. His pull-up jumper is impressive, and he also demonstrates toughness on both ends of the court. He finishes through traffic nicely, using his body to adjust in mid-air to get the finish.

Hagen started to come on last season as Archbishop Murphy’s lead guard, and he’s done a great job in that role this winter. He can run the show, create separation to see the floor, and has been really effective getting into gaps and scoring from the midrange and in. Has a great pull-up jumper and also shows toughness on both ends of the floor.

Carter has evolved into a great role player for the Wildcats during his freshman season. He is quick on the court and defends at a high level. He can get to the bucket nicely but also knock down shots from beyond the arc. Carter stepped up in a must win, loser out game against Anacortes. Hagen had 14 points and even hit 2 big free throws late to clinch the game.
