About Carter

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Fast pace and explosive! Always looking for the open cutter, three, or if I get a step on my defender I can explode to the rim!

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I love the sport and study it. New moves, plays, or ways to get open are just some of the things I like to learn. My goal is to become the best that I physically and mentally can be. I have been a leader on my past teams and I look forward to leading current or new teams to wins!

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I come from a small school of Pine River Backus. There isn't a whole lot of other clubs or organizations to pick from. I do play Football, School Basketball, and Baseball. I typically play Spring AAU Basketball and then Summer Breakdown Tournament Basketball. I have received a few academic awards for being the top of my class where I accepted them at Mall Of America!

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developted, learning how to help fellow teammates/classmates, leading by example or working hard even if its during conditioning or a tough assignment, and overall having a good attitude or outlook on life to hopefully rub off on my peers.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

My biggest challenges that I have faced in basketball is when I was younger, I wasn't tall or fast. I worked on my fundamentals, worked on my speed, and worked on my overall strength to now be dominant well rounded player that has landed me a starting Point Guard spot on the JV in 7th Grade!

What type of college are you looking for?

At this point I am going to dream big and aim high! I would love to go to a Big 10 Division 1 school, start, and dominate all while getting a high level education!
