Dubreuil has looked really sharp with the jumper this far into the season and boasts some uncommon strength for a guard. That combo of strength and shooting touch open up a lot of avenues for him to attack. He stays on balance while driving to the rim, can pivot back and forth and keep that solid base to rise up and hit the short to intermediate shots, and always has the option of taking smaller guards to the post. He’s been a really pleasant surprise this season and continues to light it up from 3-point as well.

DuBreuil is a strong guard who played to that advantage by working a lot of times with his back to the hoop. Whether he was working in close and looking to finish a two-to-three-footer or posting up further out and finishing with a turnaround jumper, he was able to get where he wanted with a bruising style of play. He also looks to have improved the jump shot, especially from 3-point where he knocked home a few triples. He looks ready to have a very solid season at Issaquah.
