Who doesn’t want to see Canfield play? I mean, I think he hit a handful of game winners in the spring. I’m pretty sure the last time I saw him play, he was raining down triples. I want to see what he does next. All that talk about his shooting, let’s not forget that Canfield is also a highly efficient point guard.

I was excited to see Canfield play as he has shown out at Prep Hoops Circuit events in the past. He didn’t disappoint at Rumble In The Rapids. Canfield once again showed that he’s a tremendous shooting lead guard. If the defense stepped back, he showed that he can and will make them pay. While his shooting stole the show, if you look deeper, you will have also seen an efficient lead guard that advanced the ball with minimal turnovers. Canfield was simply the type of guard that a coach wants to have the ball.

Canfield is a skilled guard from Bloomfield Hills that made his mark on the Prep Hoops Circuit a year ago. He was an elite floor general last year. While always in attack mode, he showed that he could distribute to bigs as well as fill it up from deep.

Bloomfield Hills earned an impressive win against Berkley by a score of 71-33. This team has a lot of unselfish talent. They have players that can get theirs, but are willing to defer to the hot hand. Last night was Canfield’s night. He paced his team with 22 points in the win.

Canfield was super impressive last weekend, especially considering that he was playing up. He showed a quick first step, put defenders on his hip and scored or made plays for teammates from there. Canfield’s aggressive style made a very loud statement over the weekend.

Canfield was a weekend star and was able to be that while playing up with Moneyball East. Canfield had the look of an aggressive and athletic scorer. He was able to initiate the offense with the pass and with the bounce. Canfield created his own looks when his team needed a spark.
