I’ve always liked the flashes Gutmann has shown and how he moves for his height. His production is starting to turn the corner and become more consistent. I thought Gutmann took nice strides this summer as a stretch-4 who can defend in space. If Gutmann continues to work in the weight room, he could find it even easier to score in the paint due to his height advantage at his position. Gutmann really looks the part and his physical tools will give him every chance to see the floor at the college level.

Springboro had their way with Turpin and it was largely due to a size advantage with Gutmann and Yuvi Bimwal Yuvi Bimwal 6'5" | PF Springboro | 2025 State OH . A smooth mover for his size, Gutmann has all the natural talented needed to take a huge leap in terms of production. Gutmann knocked down time and space jumpers, had a putback layup and attacked baseline off the dribble. Doing these things consistently will be the key for Gutmann, who now is the focal point of the Springboro offense. I’ve had faith it Gutmann eventually taking that step and now is the time for him to become one of the most dominant players in the GWOC.

Gutmann was a standout at the Midwest Basketball Club Fall League in Cincy where he showed some developments in his perimeter game while also scoring often in the paint with his size. I thought Gutmann grew an inch or two from his Sophomore season and continues to fill out his frame. On a 9-2 Springboro team, Gutmann has been a key piece in the paint to rebound and block shots. I’ll be curious to see where Gutmann is during the spring and summer, as he’s improved each time I’ve watched him play.

The big man in the middle for his team, Gutman was a dominant force on the interior. A forward who takes up a lot of space in the paint, he helped anchor the defense by slowing down paint drives and rebound. His effort also got him some easy buckets as he outran opposing bigs for wide open layups when his guards fed him the ball. The chemistry that Gutman and Jayden Rambo Jayden Rambo 6'2" | SG Springboro | 2025 OH showed together was impressive, as the high school teammates linked up for multiple guard to forward assists and played well off each other.
