Offensively, Bourgeois keeps a low center of gravity and an even tighter dribble, giving him the ability to stop and go, shift gears, and make sharp direction changes instantly, whether it’s breaking defenders down off the bounce or using crafty pivots in traffic to carve out space. Every movement, whether drive, dribble, or jump, Carsen comes with explosiveness and twitchy burst, making him hard to stay in front of and equally hard to contain at the rim. Carsen was a major floor setter for Summer Creek in their contest during the afternoon. Bourgeois knows how to control the pace of the offense and was a blur in transition as he hit several pull up shots and converted on trips to the foul stripe. He also has great court awareness and always knows where his teammates are on the floor. He uses speed to blow past defenders and get to his spots on offense as well as hound his matchup on the defensive side of the ball.
