Reminds me of an old timer’s game that really knows how to use his body. Can get a defender on his hip in the low post to spin off of and make a move or start from 10 feet and work his way down low with his back to the basket. Played bully ball down low throughout the entire game. End of quarter off of SLOB action he pinned a guy on the front side of him while passer through it over defender’s head while he caught it and scored before the buzzer. High IQ decision making skills that makes the game look simple. Knows how to read defenses with passing skills. Defensively played against the 1-5 spots because he has the size and quickness to do it. Competed tough throughout to gut out a hard fought W.

Johnson was nothing short of dominant in a statement performance against Harlem. A physically built point guard, Johnson made high-impact plays throughout the game, showcasing leadership, toughness, and poise under pressure.
He keeps his head up with the ball, finding teammates in stride and delivering passes on time and on target. When he decides to attack, he’s a bulldozer with a head of steam, finishing through contact and drawing fouls. His strength also allows him to exploit mismatches in the post.
The defining moment came late: a go-ahead and-one with under 30 seconds left, effectively sealing the win against a high-energy Harlem squad.
With his blend of physicality, feel, and competitiveness, Johnson is poised for an outstanding senior season and should draw serious attention as a lead guard who can control tempo and win games

Kirby was the highest ranked sophomore among a strong group of them in this game. He is a small forward with plus size and he can really really shoot it! High level shot maker from beyond that has a quick release off the catch. Moves very well without the ball to set up his shots. Strong frame and good free throw shooter. Has a big time skill in his long ball that could make him a D1 guy! Went for 19 points.
