About Cam

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I'm a point guard with good ball speed. That allows me to thrive in transition, push the tempo, and get teammates the ball in their spots. In the half court, I play off of my elite shot with great range. This allows me to shot fake and get in the paint to get others involved as well as finish at the rim. My body allows me to guard my position at a high level as well.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Consistent lifting, nutrition, film, and skill work are what separate great point guards, and I hold myself to that standard. I also try to bring positive energy I learned through attending Point Guard College Camps annually. Keeping the team connected is my main focus.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Champions 101 Member at Alexandria Monroe (Leadership Group)

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Giving time and attention to the younger kids at my high school is my favorite thing to do for the community.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

As a younger player I was never a kid who was going to score or be noticed. I lacked the belief that I was capable of influencing a game. After attending camps, consistent nutrition, lifting program, and putting in the work I am slowly overcame my lack of confidence and am now a player and person others can count on.

What type of college are you looking for?

It can be at any level, but needs to have my desired major and a place where it could turn into a future in playing or coaching at the next level.

Cam averaged 13.8 ppg, 4.3 rpg, 4 apg, and went 11/25 from deep. McAtee led the team in scoring and helped them win two games. In the last game on Sunday he was 6/9 from deep, all the makes came in the second half. He scored 24 that game and broke it wide open. Once Cam got hot it opened up the rest of the team. McAtee was an impact baller.
