The sharpshooter for Western, Thompson, shot the lights out all weekend. He has a beautiful stroke from the outside with a high release, making him very difficult to block. He shoots it from behind the arc at a very high rate, and can also beat you off the dribble and attack the rim. Thompson’s length and and athleticism allow him to guard multiple positions on defense.

emerged as a sleeper 2026 prospect after the latest FABC session. The 6’3 guard is a good athlete with the speed and vertical pop to chase down shots in transition. He runs the floor on offense and knocks down open shots. I’d like to see more production out of him this season, but there are athletic tools and the ability to make an impact in spurts.
