Caleb Jones
About Caleb
Expert Analysis
Miles Masercola | Prep Hoops Scout
Jones is now at Moravian Prep and in the class of 2026, he will likely land as a top 10 guy in the rankings when updated in January. He is simply wired to score at an elite level and can do it from all over the floor going any direction. He knows what he’s out there to do, fill it up, and he is such a tough check because of his strength, body control and touch from all over the court. He’s proven he can do it against all levels of competition as well. In their win vs Ambassador Christian, Jones was able to get downhill and just raise up over guys for floaters in the lane. He shoots it a lot, he scores it a lot. Caleb Jones: Wired to Score.

typically doesn’t get the love he deserves during the high school season but he made the most of his spring with the
Atlanta Celtics
. Back in April, Jones delivered one of the best performances of the spring when he went for 41 points at OTR Summer Jam. He shoots the three-ball at a high clip, sharp from the mid-range as well. Not only is Jones a serious scoring threat, he brings the energy defensively and forces a lot of turnovers. His recruitment hasn’t quite picked up yet but I could see Jones landing anywhere between mid-major and D2.

Up from No. 39: Jones scores in bunches. His unique form catches your eye right away, but you stay for the production. Caleb fills it up with his jumper. He pulls up on a dime from the mid-range and is creative enough to garner space for his three-point shot. Jones is a high-level bucket getter that is starting to appear on college radars.

Jones erupted as a sophomore, averaging 21 points per game and guiding Benedictine to the Class 4A Final Four. Known for his knockdown shooting, Caleb’s shot is funky to say the least. It looks like he shoots with two hands as his off hand comes off the ball a split second before it is released, but it works. Jones has a lightning-fast trigger and can put in points in a hurry. Throughout the tournament, Jones did more than just space the floor. He did a nice job creating as a playmaker off the dribble.
