The game’s top scorer, Sullivan proved why he’s regarded as one of the top guards in the MIAA. He competes at such a high level that it’s hard for those around him not to try to match it. He’s a bigger, stronger guard that did a really nice job of attacking the basket off the bounce, particularly going to his non-dominant left hand. Late in the game he made a couple of timely shots from behind the arc, seeming to have the answer whenever his team needed a big basket. His effort on the defensive end of the floor and on the glass was a big piece of why Franklin was able to neutralize Bridgewater-Raynham’s offensive attack in the first half.

Sullivan finalized his college plans when he announced that he’ll attend Endicott College. An integral part of Franklin’s run to the state championship game last winter, Sullivan continued to improve his stock this spring and summer with playing with the Middlesex Magic. He fits the mold for positionless basketball and shines with his effort, toughness, and ability to make winning play after winning play. He’s comfortable playing with or without the ball in his hands, is a terrific cutter off the ball, and impresses with his ability to finish at the rim. On top of that, he’s done a great job of developing his shot over the last year and is now a consistent threat from behind the arc. He’s a plus defender that can guard multiple positions, will give his body up for his team, and rebounds like someone who’s four inches taller. This appears to be a terrific match of prospect and program, as Sullivan has a chance to make an immediate impact at Endicott with his winning pedigree.

Sullivan is one of the toughest players at the tournament, bar none. He throws his body around with reckless abandon and never stops working on defense. He’s got excellent lateral quickness and phenomenal hands, making him one of the best guard defenders I saw today. Offensively, Sullivan can shoot it from three and finish athletically at the rim; he’s also a great role player and passer, like most Middlesex Magic players.
