Tough, gritty, and composed, Brycen Houle was the heartbeat of his team as a floor general who carried the offensive load through both scoring and playmaking. He had a commanding presence on the floor, controlling tempo and dictating pace with maturity beyond his years. His decision-making was elite, knowing exactly when to probe, pass, or pull up, and rarely turning the ball over. He consistently exploited weaknesses in the defense, using his eyes and ball fakes to shift defenders and create openings. Whether it was a skip to the corner, a pocket pass to the roller, or a high-low feed, Houle delivered the ball on time and on target, putting teammates in perfect position to score. Brycen displayed an advanced understanding of spacing and timing, manipulating coverages and helping create high-percentage looks. When defenders collapsed, he responded with a soft-touch floater that became his go-to weapon in the paint. Houle played with an edge while always remaining calm under pressure but aggressive in seizing scoring opportunities. A true tone-setter and floor manager who makes everyone around him better.

@ about 5’6 and growing fast, Brycen is a true point with a very unselfish game. High IQ guard that plays hard and implements the game plan to a tee. His Wichita Wildcats AAU squad went undefeated at the Jayhawk Jam in the 14U division and this kid was a key cog. In one of their day 1 games, Brycen took a charge on the fast break under the rim that had me very impressed at his timing and his thought process during a quick-bang reaction defensive play. This was the only purposeful charge takin all weekend and it came from a 14 y.o. Wow! This kid gets it.

showcased tight ball-handling skills and the ability to set up his teammates for high-percentage shots consistently. He pounded the ball with purpose, never wasting a dribble, always advancing with intent. His ability to stay lower than his defender helped him turn the corner and get wherever he wanted on the floor, down the sideline, along the baseline, or into the paint. Houle had a calm and controlled feel for the game, never forcing the action but letting plays develop. He knew when to circle through the lane to reset or find open looks on the opposite side. Using screens effectively, Houle found his way into the center of the lane where he showed touch with a soft floater or a left-handed pull-up. Defensively,
