Hillman struggled with injuries through his underclass years while bouncing between Roman Catholic (PA) and Camden Catholic, respectively, but is now healthy and has found a home with a Camden Eastside program that’s been on a steady rise over the past half-decade. A powerfully-built guard, he’s able to score in bunches while posing a viable threat at multiple levels. He consistently creates paint touches using his strength and change-of-pace ability while also keeping defenses honest as a dangerous perimeter shooter both off the catch or flowing into pullups with space in front of him. While he’s thrived as a proverbial big fish in a small pond, he flashes the ability to make others better with unselfish passing ability, which could allow him to really take off if developed further at the next level. It’s easy to see why Hillman already holds multiple offers at the D2 level.
