Davis was named as one of the fresh faces from the event, but he was so good, it would be impossible to ignore him as a standout. He scored the ball by attacking downhill and getting at the rim. His scoring was definetly a key to his performance, but his energy was unmatched. Davis looked like he was playing faster than every one else on the floor. He turned every 50/50 ball into 100% his, seemingly moving like he was on an escalator while everyone else was navigating the stairs. Impressive opening day showing for Davis.

Davis isn’t really a fresh face but his game is new look. He was the most competitive player I saw on the day, competing with an edge, winning every 50 / 50 while relentlessly attacking downhill. He finished with 16 to help Vegas cruise to victory.

Davis came up big for the Wildcats in their Quarterfinal game against Spring Valley. The junior forward finished with 19 points to help his team advance. Needless to say, a similar effort will go a long way, in helping the Wildcats if they are to defeat Silverado for a third time this season.

Davis comes to Las Vegas by way of Reno. The long athletic wing, is a slasher with the ability to defend multiple positions. He played that role admirable for the Wildcats on Satuday.

Davis looks the part. A long rangy athletic player he impressed with his defensive versatility. Davis should see minutes if for no other reason than his length alone. While on the floor, he will be expected to defend multiple postions.
