Correia was one of the more under the radar needle-movers to come out of Philly Live in June, coming from out of nowhere and putting himself on the map with a series of prolific scoring performances. A 20ppg scorer last year at Coventry Christian (District 3, Class A), he’s accustomed to putting the ball in the net but showed the ability to do it against a vastly superior level of competition than he’d gotten to face in the past. He does a bulk of his damage from long range as a dynamic shooting threat both off the dribble or catch. Once he establishes himself he does a nice job of using his shooting gravity to mix it up off the dribble to make opportunistic plays for himself and his teammates. He’s not the most traditional scholarship-level profile at his size given that he’s not a true lead guard, but if he shows he can produce and hold up defensively over the course of a PCL season, it wouldn’t be a shock to see him creep toward that level.

Correia is a skilled offensive player who consistently makes the extra pass and creates scoring opportunities for his teammates. He has the ability to put the ball in the basket in a variety of ways and can impact the game from multiple levels of the floor. From beyond the arc, Correia is a dangerous shooting threat who can quickly make defenses pay for giving him space. He also does a nice job operating in the two-man game with his post players, showing strong chemistry and making the right reads out of actions. With his feel for the game and ability to control the flow of the offense, Correia displays a great pulse and understanding of what his team needs on each possession.
