About Brock

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a selfless point guard who prioritizes team play, always looking for the best pass to create opportunities. I currently rank first in the nation in assists and have scored over 1,000 career points, so I can put points on the board when needed. If you play with me, put on your running shoes—we’re pushing the pace! My high school team averages nearly 80 points per game!

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

As a point guard, my mentality is all about being a pass-first leader. I thrive on setting the pace of the game, pushing the tempo to keep the opposing team on their heels. My focus is on creating opportunities for my teammates and maximizing our offensive potential. I work tirelessly in the offseason, honing my skills and conditioning, which fuels my confidence. I won't be outworked!

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am a member of the National Honor Society and the National Society of High School Scholars, which recognize academic excellence and leadership. Additionally, I serve as the captain of my basketball team, where I develop my leadership and teamwork skills.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

As captain of my basketball team and a member of the National Honor Society, I’ve developed leadership skills by motivating teammates and effective communication. Mentoring children year-round has enhanced my empathy and responsibility. Balancing academics and service has also strengthened my resilience and time management.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One significant challenge I faced was breaking my leg in 10th grade. Before that, I was a highly ranked athlete, participating in combines with John Lucas and Chris Paul. The injury sidelined me for two years, and I felt forgotten. During rehabilitation, I learned resilience and determination.I’m back on the court, stronger and more motivated than ever!

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for a school with a supportive coach and strong academics to help me prepare for a career in the NBA, like my uncle, the vice president of the Orlando Magic.
