Williams was on the back end of the varsity roster as a freshman, but, based on what he showed this fall, he’s due for a huge uptick in minutes. With his wide shoulders, long arms, and lower body strength, he played with tremendous effort defensively. Williams also earned his keep on the floor by stretching the defense horizontally. He calmly cashed catch-and-shoot threes, and sprinkled in some off the dribble too.
