McDonald was probably the best player at Brandeis camp and really impressed with his cerebral point guard play throughout the day. The 6-foot floor general is super quick off the dribble and has a really explosive first step, which he uses to blow by defenders effortlessly. He has a deep bag of finishing moves at the rim — off both one foot and two — and he does a great job staying under control to make the simple play for his teammates. He can also hit the mid range and three ball with very solid consistency. He’ll be a key player for Pomfret this coming season and should find a relatively high D3 fit when the time comes.
