Both Wenger brothers opted to take post grad years with Braylon’s older brother Jalen Wenger doing a post grad year until attending Florida Southwestern. Braylon won’t be far from his brother as he’s attending IMG Academy for his post grad year. I would expect Wenger to get a lot of scholarship interest from a variety of levels with a strong post grad season.

Wenger has been one of the most productive players in Division IV over the past few seasons and has had a big time senior season, playing his best basketball in the playoffs. Wenger and Dalton play in a district final tonight against Warren JFK at Struthers high school. With good size, skill and a college ready frame, Wenger has a lot of skill for scholarship programs to check out. Wenger was recently offered by Wheeling and also holds an offer to Rio Grande.

Wenger had a nice spring and summer for All Ohio Select and is the biggest prospect featured in this article. Wenger is capable of playing either forward position with his modern-day skill set. Wenger plays with good pace and vision and makes shots with a funky over the head release. Wenger is methodical with how he attacks the defense and has proven to be one of the most productive small school players in the state. Look for Wenger to once again have the Dalton Bulldogs competing for a district title in 2022-23. Rio Grande was the first program to offer Wenger and I’d imagine they will not be the last.
