About Braylin

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I can find open space on the court, get to the rim, shoot, and play defense. I am great at making the plays that the average person may not realize but make a difference in the game and all add up. I can defend any position causing turnovers with point guards to making big blocks on the big man.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Focused Mentally Tough Hard Working

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am actively involved in my church and volunteer/usher often. I also have been inducted into Junior National Honor Society.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed the ultimate teamwork skills, I play very unselfishly.

What type of college are you looking for?

Somewhere I can develop my game and will help me get to the next level.

Glad I finally get to put eyes on this young man. Being an 8th grader playing with high school kids, I was wondering how he would match up. Well, a windmill dunk in warm-ups told me everything I needed to know. Not only can he hang, he’s likely one of the better kids here. Keep tabs on this Munising Mustang, he’s on pace to be a Yooper elite!

Calhoun might just be one of the most underrated players in his class. The versatile wing made his presence felt in ways the stat sheet couldn’t fully capture. Defensively, he was a menace—locking down perimeter players, protecting the paint, and blowing up post entries. His long frame, high motor, and athleticism allowed him to play above the rim and impact both ends with energy and toughness.

Calhoun was the top 7th grader in the building. He proved to be very athletic and skilled wing. His speed in the open floor stood out. His understanding of driving angles and reading help defenders is next level. He was electrifying in the open floor and completed multiple dunks on the afternoon.
