One of the top scorers in Ohio last year for the 2025 class, Olson was getting buckets for Clyde. I saw exactly why he was so tough to stop at the high school level as Olson shined for the Ohio Buckets -Black 17 U squad. An undersized shooting guard, Olson packs a punch off the bounce. Really creative when attacking off the dribble with how he changes speed and direction. Combine that with elite perimeter shooting ability that stretches out to 25 feet and Olson can score it in a variety of ways. Not the most physically talented defender, Olson makes up for it with his competitiveness and aggression on that end of the court. Really enjoy watching Olson play, looks like a priority small college target in northwest Ohio’s 2025 class.

Recently going over 1,000 points for his high school career and a career-high 43 points, Olson is one of the top small-town scorers in NW Ohio. With elite perimeter shooting ability from 3-point range, Olson can get hot in a hurry from downtown. He was second in the SBC in scoring among their three divisions and could lead the league in scoring next season. I haven’t caught Olson in person since last summer and will be curious to see how his body has developed over the past 10 months.
