Martin is extremely skilled and cerebral when at the helm of an offense. The 5-foot-11 lefty has great change-of-pace and direction ability and knows how to keep the defense off balance with his stop-and-go dribble moves. He can also make shots from three, has crafty footwork and feel in the lane, and was one of the best passers I saw this weekend—he made multiple extremely impressive pocket passes and looked quite good in the pick and roll. Martin needs to continue to put on some weight to better hold off the defense, but he could be a different player once he does.
