Brayden Hoben Brayden Hoben 6'5" | SF Grand View Christian | 2026 State IA was an impactful force throughout this game. The combination of his speed, size, and balance made him a tough matchup for every defender in this game. He attacked the rim with no mercy and has a nice handle that allows him to get to the paint consistently. He was elite in this game at avoiding defenders ripping at his handle in the gaps, with smart dribble pickups and balance, keeping the ball out of harm’s way. He was great at using his body to shield off defenders and create angles for himself to finish around the rim, which he converted at a high clip with his nice touch. His exceptional footwork also made him a very difficult scorer to stop in the post and around the rim in general. Even when he was moving at high speeds, he was a very functional passer. Grand View Christian trusted him to run the offense on the perimeter, where he read actions at a high level and made many great passes leading to open shots. He grabbed many rebounds in this game as well and finished and-one putbacks.
