About Brayden

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a defensive first, team mindset, IQ guard. Court vision and distribution are also very high on my list of skill sets

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I believe in doing what's best for the totality of my team. Whatever is needed for the overall success of the team I am willing to do as part of my job

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am currently playing for V Sue Cleveland High School located in Rio Rancho, NM as well as Fenton Fundamentals Academy, D1 New Mexico, and UpNextBasketball club programs all based in Albuquerque, NM

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Throughout my career I have developed leadership skills due to the path I have had on my basketball journey. I learned that teamwork not only applies inside the lines of the court but also in life as well.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

My entire career so far has been a challenge because I had to work for everything I have earned. The game of basketball scared me at first until I fell in love with it. I never been as talented as some or had the type of networks as others but I work hard and I know my work will give me everything that is meant for me with God leading.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for colleges that will give me an opportunity and fair chance to work and prove what I believe within myself.

Brayden Hamilton Brayden Hamilton Brayden Hamilton 5'11" | PG Cleveland | 2028 NM stood out for how he prides himself on the defensive end of the court. Brayden took on all challenges that came his way during the tournament. His on-ball defense is very strong due to his ability to keep players in front of him. Due to his strong frame, he doesn’t allow the ball handlers to get by him easily. Brayden does just as well off the ball, always in position to help his team if they happen to get blown by. His off-ball positioning allows him to get in passing lanes and disrupt what the opposing team is trying to do. Cleveland has a good defender in Brayden, and he looks ready for the season to start.
