About Brayden
Expert Analysis
Andrew Force | Prep Hoops Scout
2/7/26: Tremendous offensive awareness. Brayden obliterated McGavock’s zone by changing the point of attack via the pass. He understood spacing. He understood angles. While Overton was going to win no matter what, Brayden was the best player in the first quarter when the game was still competitive. Doss did not turn the ball over. Big-picture he is probably average athletically for a college-bound guard though above average for the typical 4A point guard. What Doss needs in the coming year is a consistent three-point shot. He did not take any in the early going against McGavock, so the skill was not apparent. Adding this skill will make his game a true triple threat. He can drive a bit and pass at an elite level. Better defenses might sell out on the passing lanes and disrespect his shooting range. Improving that aspect will keep them more honest. Very physically strong.
