About Bra’Sharion

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a dynamic point guard who focuses on making the right play. I can create my own shots and penetrate the defense to open up shots for my teammates. I am highly active on the defensive end always looking to get steals/deflections.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

As a point guard and an active defender, I am always thinking what I can do to help my team have the best shot at winning/getting better. Being able to create my own shot allows me to have confidence in my ability to be able to score whenever I set my mind into doing so.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in my schools violin program where we preform string concerts to the school and outside viewers occasionally.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

So far I have developed leading communication skills because I feel the need to lead my teammates to all achieving the common goal that we all have is to succeed on and off the court. During the summer and the school year, I participate in various sport related community service opportunities like helping with parking or being a youth camp instructor/helper.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One significant challenge that I have faced is my smaller size compared to my peers. No matter how skilled or talented I may be, most people see my size and proceed to judge me by it without ever seeing me dribble or shoot a basketball. I do not let that slow me down because I have many more years to grow and even if I never do grow another inch, I will always believe in my performance abilities.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college where I can fit into their style of play and where their style of play fits me.
