Brazell and Martin County faced an unexpected defeat against Boyd Anderson in the first round of the regional playoffs this week. Martin County concluded the season with an impressive record of 22-4 and secured a district championship. However, the fact that they earned a 2 seed and were upset in the first round will surely be a disappointment for them. On a positive note, they will have an opportunity for redemption next year. junior Brazell, who averaged 17.3 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks per game, along with his teammate, junior Ari Smith Ari Smith Ari Smith 6'3" | CG Martin County | 2026 State FL , who averaged 14.9 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game, will return to the team. They will have the chance to build on this season’s success and aim for a deeper postseason run next year.
