Smith Jr. split his summer ball with The Chicago Demons and Chicago Showtime. He returns to Carter Elementary this fall. At camp his approach was that of a high IQ player. His decision making and shot selection was very impressive. When Smith was able to find a rhythm with the ball in his hands, he became a serious threat for defenders.

Jr made moves to the basket consistently, was shifty in the paint to get himself opportunities and ran the floor fluidly. Smith’s ability to get paint touches was quality, and showed good vision to find open teammates. From the perimeter Smith showed he can shoot it from range as well.
