With all due respect to the other seven players in this article, and the hundreds I saw play in June, Braden Fralick Braden Fralick 6'3" | SF Petoskey | 2028 State MI was the most fun to watch. I can’t believe he’s only a rising junior. An intriguing guard, Braden has no problem getting by almost anyone with the ball because of his unique combination of speed and strength. Those same attributes coupled with his competitiveness make him a solid on-ball defender as well. A key piece on a Petoskey squad loaded with shooting, the two-way guard should have a monster junior season.

Again, Braden showed us why I’ll be working to move his name a good distance up the 2028 rankings. He’s smooth around the rim and carries a lot of confidence in his overall game. Can get downhill in a hurry and really shows his worth in the transition game. Petoskey will surprise some folks in the Big North this year and Braden will be a big part of that.

Braden loves the jab-step, rip-through combo—and for good reason. He goes to it often and consistently blows past his man, proving that if it’s not broken, there’s no need to fix it. While he creates his own looks at the rim, he’s also a crafty passer who finds teammates after drawing help defense.

Braden is a very active, well-rounded player. A great example of his versatility is how he splits time between bringing the ball up as a guard and operating from the high post. Both spots highlight his natural vision, consistently making the simple but effective pass to set up assists.
