The Bears romped their way to the Jackson EMC Tip-Off Championship, starting their run with a 74-43 win over Mill Creek and finishing with a 63-35 victory over Jefferson. Boston Kersh Boston Kersh 6'3" | SG Cherokee Bluff | 2025 State GA posted 24 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists against the Hawks and had 16 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal vs. the Dragons. Kersh does the bulk of his scoring inside the arc. He’s a tough athlete, springy when collecting rebounds and finishing inside. He can sink the one-dribble pull-up and is good at scoring through contact with both hands. He drops in floaters and is smart when using the rim to shield shot blockers when taking it to the other side to finish.

High-energy swingman. Crashes the offensive glass hard. Finishes with bounciness. Does a lot on both ends of the floor. Capable shot blocker. Finds mismatches. Can go down low and score with his back to the basket but also skilled enough to get downhill or shoot the three.

Boston Kersh Boston Kersh 6'3" | SG Cherokee Bluff | 2025 State GA and his Cherokee Bluff squad have been on my radar for a while and with a couple of intriguing pieces on the roster, they could win a lot of games this season. Kersh is a big guard at 6’4 that can fill up the scoresheet. He uses his size effectively on the glass and the defensive end. Kersh has a great feel for the game and IQ beyond his age with so much talent still left to tap into. His 4.23 GPA stands out as well and should attract some high-academic programs.

After being widely considered one of the top freshman in 3A last year, Kersh will make to look another step in his development as Cherokee Bluff makes the transition to 4A. His role will likely see an increase this year and he’ll make an excellent companion for Carlos Marlow on the perimeter. Kersh has good size for a guard and attacks the rim well. He’s also a great shooter from outside and plays his role extremely well. Kersh should have a big year at Cherokee Bluff.
