Hawkins’ point guard, Boston Conner Boston Conner 5'10" | PG Hawkins | 2024 TX , is a skilled lefty with excellent body control, capable of finishing plays even amidst contact in midair. He relies on his impressive footwork and creativity to get the bulk of his buckets, utilizing veer steps, hop steps, and a smooth high swing-step pickups when driving to the basket. This moves assists him greatly when shielding the ball in traffic and eluding reaching or helpside defenders. He’s also a reliable spot-up jump shooter from beyond the arc, displaying good range. As a First Team All-District performer, Conner appears poised for another standout season.
