Ben Vogel Ben Vogel 5'11" | PG Mountain Ridge | 2030 UT is an explosive point guard who can put pressure on a defense with his quick first step and downhill attack. What I like most is how he’s starting to use his footwork to create separation and get to his spots. He has a smooth mid-range jumper and can knock down the three consistently, making him a tough guard to contain when he gets going offensively. Beyond scoring, Vogel has the ability to make plays for his teammates and brings a lot of energy on the defensive end. He stays active in passing lanes and makes things difficult for opposing guards. I’m high on Ben because he has the scoring ability, quickness, and defensive effort you want in a point guard, while still having plenty of room to grow. If he continues building on his game and developing his skills, I believe he has the potential to become a strong prospect in the 2030 class. He’s a freshman I’m excited to keep following.
