Fried isn’t a flashy player but he has gotten the job done helping West Valley to a 15-2 record and just a game behind Pullman in the Greater Spokane League. He has a patient approach, stays on balance and finds gaps in the defense to draw defenders and dish, or hit the mid-range jumper. He isn’t the quickest player, but he works hard on defense, can find creases on offense, and takes care of the ball.

Fried isn’t a very flashy pick here but he played a lot of minutes at the point last season for West Valley and looked extremely comfortable doing so. He plays at his pace, throws crips passes, and shows nice touch on those longer passes down the floor. He can hit the long-range shot and has some decent quickness getting around defenders and to the hole. There are a lot of looks opening up this winter with the Eagles’ top two guys gone, Turner Livingston and Jackson Harty.
