With Life Center hurting from some midseason departures within its lineup, Duverglas has been thrust into an increased role as a key complementary scorer. He stepped up to the plate on Tuesday, scoring 8 points in support of Myatt while showcasing a translatable skillset on the wing. Known for his shotmaking, Duverglas knocked down a key fourth quarter 3 along with a tough midrange pullup, consistently drawing the defense out with his gravity even on misses from the perimeter. He impressed with increased athleticism on a dunk in traffic after turning the corner from a dribble handoff as well as a chasedown block in transition. Duverglas tracks at least as a priority small-college prospect with a chance to bump to the scholarship level if he continues to show added wrinkles in his game.
