Ryan Morgan | Prep Hoops Scout
The Ilwaco guard should be one of the top players in the 2B this season. He showed off expanded range with ease against Adna with a repeatable motion, good feet, and supreme confidence. He continues to grow his game and with his size and handle, he’s able to work a lot of areas of the floor.

He is an athletic wing who will get his points on mid-range moves, and getting himself to the bucket. He can also shoot it from deep. He plays hard and gets after it on the glass. Averaged 18PPG last season.

Another versatile player. Averaged 18PPG last season for Ilwaco as a sophomore. He’s a competitor, and will rebound and play hard. He can score from all levels, but might be best in the mid-range. He runs the floor. He can score with his back to the basket. I probably use him at the four with this team.

Turner is a guy who knows his role. And while that role will be expanding for Ilwaco in the coming season, last year he slotted in behind the Fisherman’s leading scorer, Jaden Turner. Jaden was a scoring point guard who led the way for Ilwaco last season, but Beckett also showed some scoring prowess, averaging nearly 17 PPG and 8 RPG last season. He’ll act as a smart player who can fill in the open spaces and knock down open looks. He’s a strong player at 6’3 that can bring some physicality to the defensive end.
