Nolin has already scored over 2,000 career points so the fact that he wasn’t already in our rankings was a huge oversight. Baylor projects to be a scholarship level player in college. I don’t think he’s played a ton of AAU because he’s also a baseball player but a big season on the grassroots circuit could go a long way for his recruiting.

Despite the loss, it was a memorable game and season for a Henry County team that doesn’t usually reach this stage of the regional tournament on their home floor. Nolin is a big-time talent who moved at a different pace and rhythm than anybody else on the court. Getting a handful of loose balls, Nolin’s quick movements and strong frame allowed him to secure some contested rebounds and steals to get extra possessions for Henry County. A knockdown shooter from the outside, Nolin hit 3-pointers on the wing against the Spencer County zone defense by using pass fakes and jab steps from the triple threat. With Henry County down six late in the game, Nolin hit a huge 3-pointer to cut the deficit to three but that would be the closest they’d get in the final few minutes. Would be fun to see this team back in the regional tournament next season for Nolin’s last dance with Henry County.
