About Barron

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My latest review attending the Prep Hoops Expo in Arizona does a good job of explaining my game. Gregg Rosenberg wrote "Barron is a face-up forward with soft hands and a nice touch inside & out. He will score inside with ball fakes and finish with pick and rolls. He will then shoot it with mid-dash range, jumpers off the dribble or catch 3's. He has good length to rebound and walls up on defense."

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Basketball is more than a game to me - it is a way of life. I Train formally 6 days a week. I have moved from San Diego to Arizona this year (2025-2026) to play for a more competitive high school team. Basketball has taught me to be disciplined, to push through adversity. The lessons I've learned from basketball have shaped who I am both on and off the court, mentally, physically and academically.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have attended many PGC camps and numerous showcases the last two years. I have learned to compete at my highest level and represent myself with energy, discipline and teamwork. I can defend, score, communicate and make the right court decisions whether a pickup game or high school game. My goal is to complete each day knowing I have tried to be a better player than the day before.
