Barnes is flat out one of the best shooters in the state. At 6’5, he has no problem getting his shot off against defenders, whether it’s off the catch or off the dribble. He’s more than just a shooter though. Barnes can put the ball on the floor, get to the rim, and finish, while his size defensively allows him to guard multiple positions. He has been a huge piece for XPC Elite , and his stock will continue to rise this offseason.

Barnes is a sharpshooting guard who knocked down nearly 50% of his attempts from beyond the arc this season for the Panthers, making him one of the more efficient perimeter threats in his class. The sophomore plays with a high basketball IQ and shows versatility as a scorer, capable of producing from the midrange and even posting up smaller defenders. He averaged 15.7 points per game, demonstrating consistent offensive production. With good strength and solid passing ability, Barnes brings a well-rounded offensive skill set.

The sharp-shooting sophomore erupted for 33 points — including 10 made three-pointers — in a win over Westminster Academy, showcasing elite perimeter production. Barnes has good positional size, excellent shot preparation, and a quick, repeatable release that allows him to get shots off cleanly. With perimeter shooting always in high demand, he’s a young prospect college coaches should be tracking closely.

Baran was shooting incredible from the field. He caught fire and hit 6 three pointers in this game which kept Bell Creek in the lead for 3 quarters. Baran showed creating shooting poise and took great high percentage shots. The small forward is incredible perimeter threat this season.
