The chiseled sophomore forward out of Trinity Christian did most of the dirty work in the win over Clayton. He’s used his strong frame to carve out space and fight for rebounding position and bulldozed opponents around the rim for an efficient 12 points. He’s moves really well for a prospect of his age and size, one to track in 2028.

Returns as one of the leading contributors from last season, TCS will a new look this year, but he still will remain a key factor in how successful they will be. He’s a worker inside of the paint on both ends the floor, does a nice job of setting screens to allow Guards to be freed up and was one of the most productive offensive rebounders on the day.

Not many 2028 forward prospects have the combination of size, physique, and skill possessed by one half of the Donzo twins. He did a good job of playing physically and controlling the glass while playing in both the 2027 and 2028 age groups. Also showed some nice wing skill flashes, including ball handling on the perimeter and in a rip and run situations while even stepping out and hitting a few jump shots.

Donzo is one of a few physically-imposing big men in the 2028 rankings making his debut at No. 1 at the center spot and eight overall in the class. He’s been quite the presence in the painted area for Trinity Christian as they look to win an NCISAA State title. He’s put together four double-doubles in their last six games this season with production of 9.1 points, 7.3 rebounds, 3.2 blocks and 1.2 assists per contest in 2024-25. At 6-foot-6, he’s shown he can operate at multiple roles on the floor in the painted area.

We love how much of an impact he makes for his team in just his first year of varsity basketball action. He provides a legit paint presence that can protect the basket on defense but also score inside on the offensive end while matched up against older players. He’s strong, athletic, plays with high energy and will only get better over the next few years.
