Barrett is another under the radar producer in NC’s increasingly stacked 2028 class and should start to get more recognition here soon as he’s averaging a double double as a sophomore. With Wilkes Central at 9-7 with a 5-2 record in conference play they have found their man in the middle with Barrett. The sophomore is averaging 11.6 Points, 10.8 Rebounds, 0.8 Assists, 1.5 Steals, and 1.5 Blocks per game. He’s doing all of this on 45/34/75 splits showing he can be efficient in the process. Barrett having outside touch and impacting the game the way he does defensively and on the glass make him a very intriguing prospect long term. Add in his ability to score around the basket, you have a really versatile and productive young player. As Barrett continues to add strength to his frame, expect him to only get better and better.
