Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I am a 6'1"combo/ shooting guard known for my sharp shooting, floor awareness, and excellent decision-making. I limit turnovers, effectively balance scoring and playmaking, and can drive to the basket, pass out of drives, and hit tough shots. My versatility allows me to excel as both a shooter and a facilitator.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
My mentality on the basketball court reflects a confident and composed player who prioritizes intelligent decision-making. I play with focus and control, minimizing turnovers while staying aggressive in getting to the basket and making tough shots. My ability to read the floor and pass effectively out of drives shows my unselfishness and team-first attitude.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I am a member of the NAACP Youth Council, a leader in Public Health Advocates Neighborhood Change Champions,
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
My leadership experiences off the court have made me a stronger leader on the court. As the oldest of three and the middle child in a blended family, I’ve learned to both lead and follow. Working to improve the health of communities of color has also taught me the value of compassion, understanding, and teamwork.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
At 13, I lost my older brother, Moses, to gun violence. He was the one who taught me basketball and pushed me to be more competitive. His death was a shock, as we weren’t involved in street life. Losing him made me appreciate the value of life and motivated me to dedicate myself to both my family and the game we loved.
What type of college are you looking for?
Both my father and bonus mother attended HBCUs, and they've greatly influenced my life. If I don't get the chance to play at a mid-major or major D1 school, I'd love to follow in their footsteps. I’m looking for a school where the teachers are dedicated to helping students succeed, both on and off the court.
